Searchmetrics research suggests only 20% of iOS apps and 30% of Android Apps are able to support Google app indexing

San Mateo – March 9, 2016 – Many brands are failing to let content from their apps show up in Google’s organic search results according to new research from Searchmetrics, the leader in search and content performance. These firms are potentially missing out on valuable app traffic, engagement and conversions.

The ubiquitous spread of mobile devices has reached a fever pitch, and, yet, it still shows no signs of slowing down. A report by ComScore suggests that more than 60% of web traffic generated by leading nine US retail sites have been mobile users.

There are two things that you cannot separate when you are doing online business. These are web design and search engine optimization (SEO). The design of a website can affect its performance on the search engines severely. Every online entrepreneurs dream is to be on the first page of a search engine’s result lineup. It does not matter whether it is Bing or Google, having your website on the first page and especially among the first five results is very good for your site. This is evidence (not only to you but to all internet users) that your website is very reliable and is an authoritative source of information concerning the keywords searched.

After considerable thought, I've decided to deconstruct the website by tearing it apart, remove what doesn't work, and see if we have enough valued pieces left to continue our presence on the Web. I need to get to a point that I understand what new pieces need to be added in our content strategy and business model to make the website as successful in 2019 as it once was in 2009.
