Web Content 2008 Reviews
Submitted by Bryan on June 19, 2008 - 4:13pmI spent some of my break time today reviewing the reviews of the Web Content 2008 conference in Chicago. I didn't attend the conference but I have found some of the reviews inspiring enough in themselves. You can find Seth Gottlieb's review here as well as Deane Barker's reviews here and there.
The Web Content 2008 - Chicago site is currently listing the various conference reviews on their own site. Just check for the links under the "What People Are Saying About Web Content 2008" heading.

Radiant: Ruby Conf Presentation
Submitted by Bryan on October 22, 2006 - 8:55amOne day, one day...I pormise I will learn more about Ruby and the Raidant CMS. Until then I'll just have to read about the excitement. John Long writes:
I feel like this was the best of the Radiant presentations I have done to date...The presentation seems to have perked a lot of interest here at the conference. I’ve also spoken with many people who are already using Radiant on their own sites or are planning to use Radiant on a site in the near future. It’s always interesting to hear feedback and ideas about Radiant.
You can read more from Mr. Long through his post, Ruby Conf Presentation. He also provides a link to his presentation in PDF format.
Drupal.org: DrupalCON Brussels 2006: presentations, sponsorship and registrations
Submitted by Bryan on August 7, 2006 - 3:21pm"Good news! We have the final dates and location for the next Drupal conference (DrupalCon). It will take place on September 22nd to 23rd in Brussels (Belgium), alongside other fine events such as Euro OSCON 2006, GovCamp 2006 and BarCamp Brussels.
DrupalCon Brussels 2006 promises to be one of the most exciting DrupalCons ever. We can say that, because the first one was only one and a half years ago in Antwerp! The last event in Vancouver drew 150 Drupal participants amongst the OSCMS Summit attendees, with many packed sessions. Whether you are a Drupal professional or an enthusiastic user coming to find out more, we encourage you to join us in Brussels."
Where the girls are this weekend: BlogHer
Submitted by Bryan on July 28, 2006 - 9:16pmIs your favorite female blogger missing this weekend? Perhaps she is at the second annual BlogHer conference in San Jose, California.
Who is really taking these ladies seriously? All you have to do is take a look at the far right column of BlogHer.com and see for yourself. They have about as many big name sponsors for their confereance as the Super Bowl does. That's American football's "World Cup" for those of you that live outside of the United States.
Thanks to the folks at pingVision, the BlogHer site is running a very nice Website using the Drupal content management system.
Congratulations to all those involved with the BlogHer conference!
